AUSTRALIAN CROATIAN CLUB

Friday night bistro has re-opened for 2012!!

ABOUT US:

Welcome to the Australian Croatian Club's web site.  On this site you will find information about the Club, Club functions and how to book your own function.

Commencing trading in 1969, the Australian Croatian Club is one of the key pillars of the  Australian-Croatian community of Canberra and Queanbeyan.  Whilst located in the suburb of Turner, the club is affectionately known as the "O'Connor  Dom" due to its proximity to the O'Connor shops and the fact it is a home away from home for many locals of Croatian descent (Dom being the Croatian word for House).

Staffed by a volunteer workforce, the club's number one priority is to ensure it remains a fundamental feature of the Inner North and local Australian-Croatian community by upholding and promoting Croatian culture, customs, traditions and language.  Or  to put it more simply, a place where Australian-Croatians and their friends, regardless of ethnic background, can enjoy a little bit of Croatia down under.
